Carrick fit for Addicks test
Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick could be back a fortnight earlier than expected as he looks to recover from an ankle injury.
The England international - acquired from Tottenham Hotspur this summer - was injured against Ajax in a pre-season friendly, and it was thought he could miss the opening three games of the Premiership campaign.
However, Carrick has been progressing well in his recovery, and he could be available for the second Premiership match against Charlton Athletic at The Valley.
