Carlos Tevez to start for Manchester United
Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez will be included in the starting lineup for
tomorrow's Premier League game against Bolton after manager Sir Alex Ferguson
dismissed reports that the Argentine was tired.
Tevez, who has only just returned from World Cup duty with Argentina, was set
to start the game on the bench amid speculation that he was weary from all his
travelling.
However, when Ferguson spoke to Tevez on his return from South America, he
discovered that the former West Ham player was keen to start at the Reebok
Stadium.
"I don't know where the stuff about Carlos came from," said Ferguson.
"I spoke to him but he doesn't know where it came from either.
"I suggested he should be on the bench tomorrow and he gave me that South
American look.
"He was running about like a two-year-old this morning, so he will play."
Tevez's return to the starting lineup is a boost for United, who will be without the
injured Wayne Rooney until the home match with Fulham on Dec 3.
