England got a few of the suspects as last time lol but they should make it through you would think.

Wales are in possibly the toughest group and it looks bleak for them already.

N.Ireland also have a tough group and will find it very hard. They are good at home but its the away games that will determine their fate.

Ireland have an achievable group for the first time ever ;-) This group will look an attractive proposition for the incoming manager. Great chance of qualifying.

Scotland at first glance looks tough but Im not so sure. They obviously have a reasonable chance and are on a high at the moment. As RD says a lot will depend on how Norway play. Also 8 from 9 2nd team places go through so does having only 5 in this group severely dent their chances?

And for you Carly, it looks tough enough for Romania, having France and Serbia will prove very tough. Saying that though Serbia have lost some decent players to Montenegro but Vidic will still be there :-P

Northern Ireland have something called pride and fighting spirit in all of them - if
they prepare well and have self belief they can overcome Poland - but it will be
hard of course - I have faith in them.

Wales - this is too much for them, maybe 3 teams who could finish above them
here - so for me I give them no chance but I will pray for them to do well.

England ? - Well what can we say ? Yes of course we look to this group and then
we all say they should qualify. If the FA do the right thing for the fans and chose
a manager who is not boring and middle of the road then yes.......they will do well
here.......so I reserve judgement until I am seeing their new manager.

Republic of Ireland can get past Bulgaria - Again they need good choice for new
manager - Venables will get them through this if they choose him. As with
Northern Ireland these boys too have pride and passion and will make their
people proud.

Scotland - of all the home nations teams they SHOULD be at Euro 2008 - the team
deserve it and the fans deserve it. Holland are no big deal - Romania play them
3 times in last 8 months with 2 wins and a draw - Holland team look average to me
these days and play like they think they are great !! Scotland to win this group for me.

Romania - people talk about Romania as if we are third world country and we
always upset the odds. Yes our league is very poor - Timosoara and Cluj for
example would struggle to beat FC United and I'm not joking. But our league is
99.9% Romanian players and this reflects nicely in our 'TEAM' spirit and and
passion - We are 13th in the world and Serbia 30th - I feel happy with this group.

Well Im obviously wrong lol, you should know better. I heard someone on Sky Sports news or somewhere mention it. Since Montenegro were a new team I figured a few players would have come from Serbia.
Tough group for you though Skele...... Your best chance of qualfying is by beating Romania.

I am confident england can get through one setback doesn't ruin a county, it's happned before and we have gone on to qualify for the next tournies. After missing out on world cup 94 we got to the semi's of euro 96 and then the last 16 or france 98.

Pretty happy with Northern Ireland's group, Czech Republic are a team on decline now that Nedved has retired, Poland are beatable, Slovakia and Slovenia shouldnt be to hard at home while San Marino are one of the worst teams in the world. I could see us finishing second.

I disagree. Nedved used to be something like handbrake for my national team. I am happy he retired from us.

And several new players are adapting pretty well, so..future is bright.

Like ours with Sir David hitting his peak Maik Taylor staying on for the next campaign a very young midfield with a good centerback partnership and two good full backs second place is very achievable.
