Man United's Rooney To Make Comeback Against Fulham
England international striker Wayne Rooney is set to make his comeback for
Manchester United against Fulham on Monday.
The 22-year-old had been on the sidelines after he injured his ankle during a
training session with the Red Devils ahead of their 2-0 win over Blackburn earlier
this month. He went on to miss England's Euro 2008 qualifier loss to Croatia last
week.
"Wayne's making good progress," Ferguson revealed after United's 2-1 win over
Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
"He did some running last week and he has resumed training this week. We are
looking at him making his comeback against Fulham."www.premiershiplatest.com
