Sir Alex Ferguson has expressed his belief that Portuguese wing wizard Cristiano
Ronaldo is developing into a better player than Eric Cantona.
The Manchester United manager heaped praise on Ronaldo after his match
-winning free-kick gave the Old Trafford side a 2-1 Champions League victory over
Sporting Lisbon on Tuesday.
Ferguson said: "I have had some great players here over the years - Bryan
Robson and Roy Keane. I love Eric Cantona. He was a marvellous player.
"But, in terms of sheer ability and imagination, Cristiano is without doubt looking
the best now."
