SULKY Dimitar Berbatov has been branded a “disgrace”
and warned he could have blown a megabucks move
to Manchester United.

The blistering attack on Tottenham’s unsettled striker comes from former White
Hart Lane favourite Paul Walsh.

Walsh is appalled by the way stroppy Berbatov has behaved this season after
being denied his summer switch to Old Trafford.

And he reckons the £15million-rated star’s lack of commitment and poor form –
just two league goals ahead of today’s clash with Birmingham – may well have
killed-off United’s interest.

Walsh rapped: “Berbatov has been like it from day one this season. Before the
transfer window closed, he looked like he wanted to be at United.

“And once the rumours about the club’s meeting with Juande Ramos all came out,
the whole thing spiralled downwards.

“In lots of quarters Berbatov has been a bit of a disgrace – with his body
language and attitude to situations.

“He’s hedging his bets, saying that he’s happy just to keep the fans off his back,
but deep down, if he wants to be at United, he should tell Spurs.

“But would United want him? Seeing him sulking all season I’m not so sure that
you’d want that sort of character in the dressing room.”

Berbatov, 27 next month, did find the net in the UEFA Cup on Thursday night, to
suggest that he might be getting his act together ... at last.

But Sky pundit Walsh added: “Even if he does want to leave, he’s still got to play
to his potential and do his best. People will show him a lot more respect if he
does that rather than sulk.”

Meanwhile, Spurs’ £10m-rated teenager Gareth Bale revealed last night that he
and his team-mates have been put on a new fitness regime by Ramos.

Bale, 18, confessed: “We lost confidence at the start of the season. But we are
quicker and more tactical now.

“And hopefully the results will show on the pitch.

“We’ve been told a few things to eat and also what not to eat – such as no junk
food. And if it helps we will do it. We need to be stronger than other sides,
especially in the last 20 minutes of a game. We also don’t want to lose energy
and hopefully that will win us games.”

Bale, snapped up from Southampton by axed boss Martin Jol, says the new
regime is pushing hard at targets that looked a million miles away from them
before Ramos arrived.

“We needed to believe we could win every game,” he added.

“We think we can do well and push on.”

No ibrahimovich is a class player who is getting better not a sulker who is getting worse.

I doubt he's blown his chance if he has one. if he plays for United, then of course his attitude would change too....
