Rooney reveals WC hopes
Wayne Rooney says he believes he will be able to represent England at the 2018
World Cup despite the fact he will then be 32.
England are in the running to host the 2018 showpiece, and the 22-year-old
Manchester United ace says his career desire is to play and lift the trophy in his
homeland.
"It's possible I could still be playing for England then," Rooney told the Daily
Star. "Hopefully I can still be playing for my country and it will be even better if
we do well in it.
"As a footballer you want to be remembered as a winner. Hopefully before I retire
I can say I've won something with England." www.eatsleepsport.com
