Roy Keane’s Sunderland will come up against defending champions Manchester
United in the Premiership on Boxing Day at the Stadium of Light.

The Black Cats are in need of points to get out of the drop zone while the Red
Devils can leapfrog Arsenal to the top of the table if they win tomorrow.
However, the Gunners could regain their top spot if they win at Portsmouth in a
late kick-off.

Keane, who enjoyed a glorious career with Manchester United, has a worry in the
form of striker Michael Chopra, who suffered a heel injury against Reading and is
facing a race against time to recover for the Red Devils test.

United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has asserted he will use his squad over the hectic
festive season and with Park Ji-Sung fully recovered from a knee problem, the
South Korean midfielder could make his first Premiership appearance of the
season.

Moreover, there could also be a start for Nani while skipper Ryan Giggs is likely to
be rested.

Goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar (groin) is definitely out, but Ferguson is hoping
defender Rio Ferdinand (foot) and midfielder Owen Hargreaves (back) will be
ready.

Squads:

Sunderland: Gordon, Ward, McShane, Halford, Harte, Higginbotham, Collins,
Yorke, Etuhu, Leadbitter, Wallace, Whitehead, Kavanagh, O'Donovan, Jones,
Chopra, Connolly, Murphy, Stokes, Cole.

Manchester United: Kuszczak, Heaton, Brown, O'Shea, Simpson, Ferdinand, Vidic,
Pique, Evans, Evra, Fletcher, Ronaldo, Nani, Eagles, Carrick, Hargreaves,
Anderson, Giggs, Park, Tevez, Rooney, Saha. www.premiershiplatest.com

Keane will have his players very psyched up for this match and we can expect a tough battle...

However if we don't come away with a win we will have to seriously question our title hopes......
