i live near althorp and regularly eat in the village pub in great brington in grounds of althorp estate . about three weeks ago one of the lads at the who wants to be a millionaire machine said that rees jones the bodyguard who is on tv tonight as hes been in court over inquiry has written a book about what really happened and has lodged it with bank in safe deposit box . in his will he has given instructions as to box details and has asked for books proceeds to go to his family . the fella said that jones had been told by those in power that his health and the health of his family could be in jeapordy if he divulges anything about that night . i smiled and went back to my meal and later on at bar told barman what he had said and laughed . the barman tells me that the guy at the machine was head groundsman at althorp and had been telling anyone that would listen that tale for years . hope i am alive to see if he was a stroker or teller of truth .
