He's already a great prodigy and if he scores his first goal,he'll be an important asset to our repeat of the 1999 treble..But hows he going to get the goal? Should SAF give him more freedom to play behind Tevez and Wazza or is he content to stay in the centre midfield role and supply the attack with glorious passes? Please share ur views on this.

Yeah, the one thing Anderson is missing is that goal scoring threat. I'm hope Sir Alex may use a 4-1-2-1-2 formation with Hargreaves in front of the defense and Anderson behind Roovez. I want Anderson to score too. It's like United at the beginning of the season, once that first one is scored, it becomes much more natural.

I wouldnt be too worried about his goalscoring habits just yet.
Its not as if he is a striker or an AM and is expected to score.
His job when he has come in is a destructive one.
He also gets moves going with his precise passing.
I would love to see him score but when you have the likes
of Ronnie, Rooney and Tevez putting the ball in the net,
does it really matter who scores?
But as Grif said....once he scores it will become more natural
and it will give him more confidence to try shooting from distance
or making late runs into the box.

He strikes me as an assist player for the future. As Fergie hopes, almost Scholes-like, except the rash tackles, and ginger mop! lol. Fantastic prospect for the future, love watchin him even in the warm-up! Put it like this, he's gonna have a much bigger impact than Kleberson!!

He's only ever going to score 30 yard screamers in that position in United's squad. (See, Micheal Carrick @ Roma x 2)

His recent/entire amount of efforts on goal for United does not instill confidence in me that he will score. ;)
But if he keeps playing the way he is at the moment, I wouldn't care if he never scored for United, seriously.
With Ronaldo, Scholes, Rooney, Tevez, Saha and Nani goals will never be a problem so I say to Anderson......
Keep up the good work and the goals will come :)

I see anderson getting one soon. His ability to stop opp. mid field dead in its tracks has been a great asset this year, i can see him starting a run and rooney or tevez feeding him into box. We'll see?

Guys remeber the game versus Aston Villa in the later stages just before Ronaldo and Rooney scored..Anderson was playing a more attcking role and was looking like he was going to score...btw he didn play that much CAM role at Gremio please watch him play before you say anything he mostly played LB, and LM and some times CAM...not much Attacking Midfield role..

If he didn't score for the whole season.....
But carried on playing as he is.....
Would we all be happy ?
Of course we would !!
The worst thing is for people to put pressure on him.....
Saying he NEEDS a goal.....
He MUST score.....
I'm sure Fergie will take care of Anderson anyway........;)
If you are reading this Anderson...If you get an open goal and miss we'll give you plenty of headaches Mr ;)

It doesn't matter when he scores. As long as we are winning, and he performing to a very High level- the goals will eventually come for him.

Anderson is a quality player and has been unlucky not to find the net on a couple of occasions.
I'm sure he'll be scoring more goals for us than the likes of Carrick and Hargreaves in the seasons to come.

Without knowing the length of a string, that was the best answer... Just let him take the next penalty!! :D Thank you.;)

this lad is amazing. At the start of the season,we were wondering if he was really worth 17 mil and if he was united material. But look at him now. He's almost secured a place in the midfield with his phenominal passing and his ability to beat defenders and provide that killer instinct. He is basically pulling the strings in midfield. What do u think of him so far?
