Honestly, I'm not sure how wide of a range of people this applies to. I had never heard it in the states and wasn't until the UK I heard the phrase.
Anyway, I don't think any explanation is really needed for this one:

Two possiblities ( both could be totally wrong )..
1) Could the brand FCUK response to the brand Gap.
2) When boarding buses, trains etc you see signs or hear announcements saying " Mind the gap "......could be a reply to that.

The answer is actually one of the following:
a. Rest of the teams lobbying hard to close the gap on the Big Four. More gate sharing, TV rights etc.
b. A motivational T-shirt for the Scousers to work harder to catch up with their neighbours.
c. Yes, Fcuk's cheeky advertising campaign against Gap.
d. None of the above.

It's definitely nothing to do with FCUK because clearly it doesn't say FCUK
I think it has something to do with trains

Good point about excluding Fcuk, mate.:) But nah, doesn't sound like having anything to do with trains either...
Think it must be d. None of the above. :D

The problem with T Shirts is anybody can put anything they want on, and nobody on the planet would be any the wiser as to what it meant, so - who cares?
