BIG-MATCH FACTS

Tottenham and Manchester United square up to each other for the second time in
a week. Last Sunday, the Red Devils knocked the north Londoners out of the FA
Cup with a clinical 3-1 victory, courtesy of a brace from Cristiano Ronaldo, and a
Carlos Tevez goal. Tottenham's Michael Dawson also got his marching orders
after Robbie Keane had put the visitors in front at Old Trafford.

By kick-off time, United may have been knocked off the top of the table once
again by Arsenal. But they go into this match bidding for a fifth straight victory in
the Premier League and a seventh in a row in all competitions.

Juande Ramos is looking for a seven maximum from his 14th Premier League
game in charge. Spurs are challenging for a fifth league win in a row at the Lane.

These clubs have been awarded more penalties in the Premier League than any
others; six each, of which United have converted four, and Spurs three.

If United notch a 24th Premier League victory over Spurs they will complete an
eighth double over them in this league and second in successive seasons.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR

Club stats
Fixtures
Highest achievable after Saturday's matches: 11th
Lowest could realistically fall: 12th

1. Won three and lost one of the last five league and cup games.

2. The goalless draw, away to Everton on Wednesday night was only the fourth
time they had failed to score in this Premier League season.

3. It was also their first no score draw of the season, and first in 52 Premier
League outings since October 2006.

4. Still the Premier League's most entertaining club to watch for goals; their 24
goals have produced 84 at 3.5 goals per game.

5. Scored 44 Premier League goals; only Arsenal (49) and Manchester United (46)
have netted more. Of their 44, 19 have been scored in the first half, making them
the joint second highest scorers in the first period behind the Red Devils by just
three.

6. No club has conceded more Premier League goals in stoppage time (six).

7. Not lost a league match this season by more than a two-goal margin.

8. Eager to add the scalp of Manchester United to those of Manchester City (2-1),
Fulham (5-1), Reading (6-4) and Sunderland (2-0) gained in the last four home
league games when a total of 15 goals were scored.

9. Not been beaten at White Hart Lane since an odd goal in five reverse by
Birmingham on 2 December.

10. From taking on one of the best, it'll be the other extreme next with a visit to
Derby. Then it's the resumption of the Uefa Cup campaign, away to Slavia
Prague.
