Hunger and desire - this is always a good ingredient to win a game. Today at half
time United have this in abundance and Arsenal to be frank look very sad and
forlorn as a team.
Fletcher is covering so much ground and hassling the Arsenal midfield - he looks
like a man possessed - despite the criticism aimed at him in the past.
Goal number one from Rooney with a header after Anderson powered the ball
back into the area. Lehmann had no chance.
From a pinpoint cross by Nani came goal number 2 scored by Fletcher. Maybe a
little deflection from Gallas but Fletch will claim this as his.
Nani stepped in with number 3 to leave Arsenal looking dismayed and praying for
the half time whistle !
Rooney is giving Arsenal a master class in how to play upfront on your own !!!
He may be a bit shorter than those around him but what he lacks in height he
more than makes up for in heart and determination.
What of the second half … ?
If I were Arsenal right now I would be a little nervous !
