Pride, Passion and Fight

Lets be honest... a lot of us groaned when we saw the team sheet.

No Ronaldo, Tevez, Giggs, Scholes and Hargo had a few of us scratching our
heads.

But oh how well did we perform?.......

Rooney was like a dog let off the leash, snapping away, fighting for every ball and
scoring a great strikers goal. Great to have him back. He could have easily had a
hat full.

Fletcher was like 'a man possessed' unleashing himself like never before, scoring
twice, making runs and tackling like a demon. This man was unstoppable. Shame
on those that wouldnt give Fletch a fair chance. When he is asked to do a job he
always does it without complaint. He was a colossus today, a Scottish Warrior.

Its people like Fletch that make United a great squad.

Across the 5 man midfield was pure hunger, desire and will to win.

Anderson was awesome going forward and in winning every tackle. He worked
his socks off today and looks a fantastic player.

Carrick pulled the strings producing a master class in passing football. Where
were Fabregas and Gilberto?? No where to be seen. Our men in the middle
battled bravely. Arsenal weren't interested and we made them pay.

Park hassled and hurried as he always does. He never gave Arsenal a minute and
was involved in a lot of our good play.

Nani was like Michael Jackson out of Thriller:p . Another man who was possessed
and playing out of his skin. Who needed Ronaldo tonight???

Nani was magnificant today, his 2 glorious assists, his wonderful first touch and
left foot shot into the net, his tantalising dribbles and courage and bravery in the
face of punks Gallas and Traore who kicked him off the ball. Nani stood strong
and produced a world class display. He will surely feature in soccer AM a lot next
weekend especially with his few headers and volleys in a row. His celebration
personified his first class display.

In defence Evra was like a classy winger rampaging forward producing moments
of magic. Brown was stong into every challenge and was top notch today as
were Rio and Vida who remained relatively untroubled.

As far as I know Van der Saar was playing in goal but I cant be sure about that :D

Then we had the luxury of bringing Scholes and Saha on.

Saha looked very sharp indeed and though he could have scored he still impacted
on the game and I for one am very happy he is back again.

This was the most complete performance of the season, the best and hungriest
first half we have seen, to go with the second half massacre of Newcastle.

The players were hurting after last Sunday and this is how they repaid the fans.

The support at Old Trafford tonight was the best I have heard it in a long time.

The fans deserved this after last Sunday's emotional game. Thats 2 weeks in a
row the crowd has been terrific. Lets hope it can be like that more often.

Its days like today you love being a United fan........

This will damage the Arsenal confidence like the time we beat them on their 49
undefeated run.

This has really got the season rolling. Its shaping up to be a monster.

With Ronaldo, Giggs, Scholes, Hargo, Rooney, Tevez etc raring to go and feeling
as fresh as daisies I will be feeling very sorry for Lyon on Wednesday.

This could be a season to remember with this 4-0 victory the pivotal turning point.

My Man Of The Match:

1.Fletcher
2.Nani
3.Rooney
