United, Arsenal and Liverpool have all shown great interest in signing striker
Karim Benzema from Olympique Lyon.
However ...
It seems United's chances of landing the striker could be all but finished.
Benzema who was instrumental in knocking Rangers out of the Champions
League must be one of the most sought after players in Europe.
But despite being linked with a £20 Million move to Old Trafford on several
ocassions - Benzema has told the News of The World he will turn down any
chance to join the Premier League champions.
With Fergie looking for a striker to take the pressure off the Rooney/Tevez
partnership this must be bad news indeed.
