Van der Sar: The Dutchman could have brought his deckchair to this one 6
Brown: Great display for the Longsight born defender. Plenty of crunching
tackles and overlapping runs. 7
Evra: Some superb attacking play as well as the usual defensive solidity
from the Frenchman 8
Ferdinand: Bendtner and Eduardo didn't get a sniff as as the stand-in
Captain was on top of his game. 7
Vidic: Same as Ferdinand, usual rock solid defending and headed away
most of Arsenal's long balls 7
Park: Energetic performance from the Korean but didn't make the most of
goalscoring opportunities 6
Carrick: Clinical passing was devastating and started many of United's
attacks. 9
Fletcher: Never stopped from the first whistle to the last. Scored two goals
to cap off a brilliant performance 9
Anderson: Had Fabregas in his back pocket for the whole 90 minutes. His
pace and power were there for all to see and his forward runs showed glimpses
of what is to come from this wonderkid 9
Nani: His crossing ability is excellent and it showed today with two assists.
He terrorized the Arsenal full backs and also grabbed a goal with a nice finish
after a great carrick pass 9
Rooney: A masterclass in how to play up front on your own, grabbed the
first goal to begin the rout. 9

Saha: (sub Rooney 71) Had two scoring opportunities but spurned them. A
decent 20 minutes under his belt. 6
Scholes: (sub Anderson 71) Simple passing from the Ginger Prince as he
saw out the victory 6
