Giggs And Co To Be The ‘Kings Of Lyon’
Last years defeat by 3-0 at the hands of AC Milan still causes concern to anyone
who loves United.
Bad as it was, it now acts to drive Giggs and co onward, and it makes them more
determined than ever to make amends for it this year.
Giggs will make his 100th European appearance for United if he appears against
Lyon in the Stade Gerland tomorrow night.
With a much stronger squad this year Giggs is convinced United can go all the
way this time.
“I think the players who experienced that disappointment in Milan will be helped
by it. Milan weren’t really going for anything else and were able to rest players.
This year we’ll hopefully be wiser."
I’ve heard many people saying “Oh I think a score draw will be OK in France -
then we can finish them off at Old Trafford”

We should play ALL games the Matt Busby way this year !
