Ben Foster told MUTV today that he is well on the way to becoming fit again after
damaging his cruciate ligments in a match for Watford against Newcastle 8
months ago.
Foster was on loan with Watford from Manchester United and was pushing for a
regular England place with some critically acclaimed performances.
Foster told MUTV that he is also having to remember his own methods of 'keeping again following such a long layoff.
England have been a bit topsy turvy in the goal keeping department since
Robinson suffered his "crisis of confidence". A fit Foster will be pushing hard to
replace him.
Ben Foster was spotted by Sir Alex Ferguson, when playing for Wrexham, on loan from Stoke City.
He had also had loan spells from Stoke to Tiverton, Bristol City, Stafford Rangers and Kidderminster.
It would appear Sir Alex saw potential in him whilst Stoke did not!
