Rock and Roll fans?!!

i'm a really big fan of the Coldplay songs, but i never really bothered to find out the names of their albums:o , so could you please tell me? As well as that tell me which songs really struck you as timeless? And what about the new rock bands, do you think KEANE, and RHCP and the Evanescence are any good if not, please suggest some others...:p

hey mate, I love the chili peppers, but not as much as Iron Maiden, Metallica, AC/DC, Guns N Roses, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Pantera, Slayer, Hammerfall etc, they are GREAT GREAT bands. :p

Great choice of bands guys, and yeah i'm a great fan of Led Zepplin and u2 as well, in some weird site somewhere i think i saw them say that BONO was leaving U2 is that true guys?:confused: :confused:

One, they are not good. Two, overrated commercialised silly sausage. Three, they are not good again. Four, musically they aren't great. Five, Bono thinks he is god. Six, pick up sticks.

Nah, its just that I simply dont rate U2, I had a short period of time of liking Vertigo, but only because it was incredibly catchy.

I think you have to go back to their older records for the really good stuff, the last few years have only produced a few good tracks here and there

I'm sorry but we'll have to agree to disagree, Ajant. U2 are by far and away the best band. Their lyrics are very good, a lot of their songs are based on events taking place at that point in time, they've stuck together for a very very long time. They're active in promoting charitable causes but at the same time aren't sanctimonious enough not to recognise a good commercial deal (iPod endorsement). Above all, they play good music.
