Following on from the item in the gossip column in this section, here is the news that hard up Liverpool fans have formed their own break away team AFC Liverpool.

Wonders if they will be playing in the Bootle Giro League?

One valid point: these are the self same fans who ripped United apart 3 years ago when FC United was formed, albeit for different reasons.

they sucks:mad: you could be a bit more constructive in your criticism. Let me remind you why this club is being set up - "by Liverpool fans who cannot afford it anymore".

Look into this - football is becoming too expensive for the "ordinary fan" - look at the broader picture.

Next will probably be someone like Chelski or Man City - its becoming far too expensive. Look at the likes of me. I used to go to OT regularly but now, mortgage, travel, parking, bills, council tax - its all up up up and so are ticket prices. Something has to give and family comes first. Plus the fact I also work shifts which does not help.
