Arsenal
Their season is falling apart at the seams as the team implodes on itself.
They seem to have hit the self destruct button with such disgraces as
captain William Gallas crying on the pitch, Nicklas Bendtner and Emmanuel
Adebayor fighting during a game and now a fourth straight league draw
has seen them throw away a five point lead and sit in second place behind
champons Manchester United with a game less to play. If they play to their
potential they should beat Liverpool with ease in their Champions League ties.

Verdict: Possible title winners but they need to get their act together fast!
Will be favourites to progress to the next round in Europe if they play like they
can.

Chelsea
Despite playing possibly the most boring football in the Premiership, they are only
3 points behind leaders United, having played the same number of games. They
seem to always grind out a result even though they play badly in most games.
They have been handed a cushy draw against fenerbache in the Champions
League and might as well have been given a bye into the next round. They may
even rest key players in Europe to keep them fresh for the title run in, but with
a squad of their size, they might not need to.

Verdict: Again possible title winners! Could make the final of the champions
League at least.

Liverpool
This year was 'their year' for the 18th year in a row.We are forever reminded of
their title ambitions pre-season, but they are again, as always, well off the pace
by January despite now boasting the 20 goals a season striker they have craved
in Fernando Torres. This does however, allow them to rest key players like
gerrard and Torres in the league efore vital Champions league fixtures. they are
struggling to fight off local rivals Everton for fourth place to secure Champions
League football next season. They face Arsenal in the last eight and may struggle
against classier opposition.

Verdict: Over hyped cup team! May do well in Europe if they can overcome Arsenal
but the league title is way beyond them.

Manchester United
The champions now sit at the top of the table by virtue of a better goal difference
and a game in hand on second placed Arsenal. They have struggled for form
recently and haven't been as prolific as earlier in the season, bu are still grinding
out wins in the league. The Champions League draw handed them a tie against
Roma again, which is one of the tougher draws, but they have the advantage of
playing the second leg at Old Trafford and will be firm favourites to progress to
the next round.

Verdict: Favourites for both the Premier League and Champions League but
likely to win one or the other, though they have the squad to win both!

What do you guys think?
