The number of chances missed by United in recent matches is worrying and
potentially costly.

The goals have suddenly stopped coming and that has seen United struggle past
Lyon, get punished by Portsmouth and almost suffer acute embarrassment
against the team with the worst record in Premier League history.

Against struggling Bolton this week they have another chance to put things right.

But which combination of attacking players is most likely to get the ball in the net
for United most often?

Rooney, Ronaldo, Tevez?

Rooney, Ronaldo, Saha?*

Rooney, Nani, Tevez?

Rooney, Ronaldo, Nani?

Rooney, Nani, Saha?*

*Assuming Saha does not injure himself.

Or another alternative altogether?

Hell, I see all of ur options include Rooney & I can understand why. ;)
He's always been our main focal point of attacking play,
thus he's an automatic shoe-in for me. Next, I haven't really seen Nani been
featuring for United recently. So I guess against Bolton Wanderers, he'll
be up against it. Moreover, we require his pin-point crosses that he whips
into the opposition's penalty box area with a swing of his boot.
And mind you, he's amassed the biggest tally of assists for us this season.
Last but not least, I will go with Louis Saha. The Frenchman can provide
an excellent aerial prowess against Bolton Wanderers' aggresive, physical
style of play. Their defenders used the whack-and-hit style on our attackers.
Saha can make the vital use of his powerful physique & naturally strong build
to get past them. He will be the sharp, penetrative force that pierce through the
opposition's defence while Rooney will be spraying dangerous, defence-splitting
through-passes that Saha loves to feed on. He's the best finisher in our team
so he has to play. Orchestrator: Rooney, Provider: Nani, Finisher: Saha ;)
Ronaldo ought to be rested after so many string of games for United recently.

The one that starts ;)

I've got a feeling that Fergie could be trying to keep Tevez fresh for the Liverpool game since he scored against them at Anfield and he commented that he 'scores in the big games'.

I'm not sure if he trusts Saha to start a game yet though so it could be Rooney and Saha up front or Rooney and Ronaldo up front against Bolton imo.

Tevez & Saha would be my pick for strikers. Rooney is really ticking me off with his missed chances.

Hopefully not playing him this game will force him to get his shooting boots on for Sunday.

Rooney, Nani and Saha imo.
Saha is the only out and out striker therefore him!

Oops sorry didnt see that Ronaldo was counted so urmm i would say him rooney and saha dont know how he would equate them 3, maybe play rooney on the left?
I think we should win though get an early goal then we should cruise (unlike the Derby game)
