Pes2008 Vs Fifa 08

i bought both games when they came out.
(im on ps3 by the way)
i took pes back the next day.

Reasons-online play shocking(ball dissappears and reappears)
-bad framerate (i have a hd tv so it jolts when playing)
-its not realistic game its an arcade game!(you can run behind the back 4 every time and score, no actual football minded-ness needed)

Only good thing about pes was that you could dive!

Fifa is very realistic in the sense of its difficult to open teams up, so when you get a chance (like in real life) you really want 2 take it.You have to pass the ball about....basically it needs a mind that watches/knows football to be good at it!....

i buy both reach year....but fifa won HANDS DOWN this year!

PES's lack of licences don't bother me - licenses are not the reason why I play virtual football - I want fun, not Nike logo on jersey.

Well ive had both of them this year spent hardly any time on pes it doesnt offer as much as fifa, fifa has the bettter manager seasons if i remember rightly you cant even do a CL on PES. Fifa has a new beasty option - be a pro - which is great and fun also the online play of fifa is much slicker the lag you can get on PES is unrealy i used to get really annoyed.

well they both have their good points because pes the through ball works a lot better than fifa, while fifa league is a lot better than master league in pes. fiifa just needs to make internationals properly.

FIFA offers more behind the game but PES has the much better football by far.

If only PES would get a proper campaign behind there brilliant engine they could make a perfect game.

If you want to play a decent through ball i recommend that you change the through ball button to manual and it's much better to play and place those shots for real! FIFA all the way, very much improved and a lot of old PES fans switched to FIFA due to many options to play! I'm going to play it now infact! Peace!

PES is a crime against football imo all the players look like zombies, the play was poor at best and the music and general finish of the menus and stuff was dire imo

Pro evo is by far and away the greatest football game ever .. any1 who plays Fifa instead of Pro has just plain made wrong choices in their lives!!;) :D

I got Fifa 08 on PSP and it is better supposing to Pro Evo on the PSP. But on the Playstation 3 - Pro Evo 2008 is way better then the Fifa 08 on the PS3. I find the online much easier on Pro Evo.

Also the stats are right for every player in PES. In Fifa 08 they're all the same stats for me.

for proper football people fifa absolutely kanes pes this year, but for a muck about with your mates pes is just easier as the game play is quicker and you can basically shoot from anywhere, i love fifa though

Better graphics, better music, actual names and stadiums, more realistic gameplay and better online.

I got Pro Evo this year and I thought it was a massive dissapointment compared to last year (first time I played pro evo was last year, I'm a fifa man). Fifa 2008 is quality gameplay is better graphics is immense and online is brilliant.
