Watched a few recently:
Apocalypse Now:Classic, some great performances, especially Robert Duvall!!!. It can drag at times but it is still gripping. Definitely a film you could watch three or four times before you undertsand it!!! 9/10
Dodgeball:Classic, non-stop laughs, and Ben Stiller as 'White Goodman' is fantastic!!! I love the film, watch it every few months. 8/10
Old School:Hilarious, Will Ferell at his best here in my opinion, far funnier than in the much overrated Anchor Man. He makes the film, I could watch him as the character he plays in it all day long!!! Good film. 6/10
Inside I'm Dancing:About two young guys in wheel-chairs, both suffering from muscular diseases. A truly remarkable and very funny at times film from the director of East is East and Billy Elliot. I strongly advise you to watch this film if you haven't already. 9/10

Saw No Country For Old Men.
Amazing film! Great film, honestly, although it has a strange, weird some-what
poor ending to it! But the first 98% is brilliant! Check it out if you haven't already
done so!;)

Control: The artistic performance 11/10. Anton Corbijn is too much of a perfectionist. Its scenery and photo is so beautiful it almost hurt while the story of Ian Curtis is a touching tragedy. The movie would have been an average movie if it wasnt for the Corbijn touch.

It was WAY better than the last one with Eric Bana.....
I was a big fan of the original series on tv and the old Hulk even
makes a cameo in it.
Ed Norton plays Hulk and the film is bloody awesome.

Last film I watched was This Is England.
Impressive debut by the little lad who was the star of the film and I thought it was a good insight into the Thatcher years, some of the effects of the Falklands War and the problems this country faced at the time e.g. skinhead gangs, racism, high unemployment etc.
If you don't like watching films that tackle issues such as racism and contain strong violence and a LOT of swearing then it won't be your cup of tea but I thought it was quite a good film.

I watched Sweeney Todd a few days ago too. Loved it. Pity he had to kill his wife but I knew it would happen. Depp's singing isn't amazing but his pitch is great.
Watched August Rush on Friday. Was ok. I've seen worse. No one on earth plays organ, piano & guitar at that level first time and the kid's conducting was useless. I'd throw my trumpet at him if I was in the NY Philharmonic. The number of co-incidences in the film almost completely screwed it up.
Also watched Jumper yesterday. Quite enjoyed it but it got shredded by almost every critic. Wasn't structured that well if I think about it.

Pretty sure I have seen that too. I don't really know enough about the official story of 7/7 to really formulate an opinion yet, we didn't cover it much after a week or so in the states, same thing with the Madrid disaster. Makes me feel kind of sad that the news here doesn't focus more on global affairs. I think that might be because I'm pretty much an Anglophile anyway, but I digress

I'll look into it for sure, but I think to really gauge the emotions of that day, I'd had to have seen the breaking news, and I was sleeping when it happened, plus a little too young to really have an idea of what was happening around the world.
