Beckham joins LA Galaxy

David Beckham will leave Real Madrid and join Major League Soccer side LA Galaxy at the end of the season.

The 31-year-old former England captain will sign a five-year deal, reportedly worth £128m.

Lol, the figure (128 million) is how much he'll get paid over the 5 years he stays.

It's all about money for becks, hope it turns out a good move for him and 'soccer' though. If he gets the USA into footbal..wow it'll be huge!

Correct. The deal will be beneficial to the entire MLS league as it is a profit-sharing based system, so all the teams will benefit from David's move to LA. Expect to see that skanky wife of his on the TV more often now that she's in LA + having stayed in Spain she ought to have picked up some of California's second language too - Spanglish. ;-0
