MORE IRISH!!!!! :D:D:D
lol....wouldn't say that mate.
Don't actually play it....puck about with a few mates but don't play.
As a mate of mine once said,
"Why would you play a sport where its hairy grown men bashing the ***** out of
eachother with sticks?"...
lol....amazing sport TBH.............not going to Croker today though. Went to the
Dubs and Wexford in Nowlan park a while back....so nearly won, drew and lost
the replay.
Anyways, this is a Gealic Football thread!
Hurling is super to watch..... ok enough said about hurling, as you said Gealic Football thread, but the dubs were rubbed against them wexford strawberries:D

I think I watched some of this gay lick this
morning but I'm not quite sure
There was like a net and rugby posts together
and everyone was holding the ball and there
was fighting and all sorts of other craziness.
I've no idea what they were playing but the guys
in yellow beat the guys in red for the first time ever.

^^So true! *wipes tear from eye*...so true! :o
Dublin one game away from a semi-final meetin with Wexford.
Simple, beat Tyrone tomorrow really
Weather is supposed to be absolutly awful!
Last week, Kerry beat Galway at Croker and the rain was incredible..
In this video, you probably won't see the rain, but look at the difference in
brightness in the 1st and 2nd halves. You'll see everyone bunched to the back of
the stands too to avoind rain.

Páidí Ó Sé, the former Kerry, Westmeath and Clare boss, has revealed that he would consider stepping into Paul Caffrey's shoes as the Dublin football manager, if he was asked.
Speaking on Newstalk 106-108 fm on Monday Ó Sé admitted: "Any player who went back to management, or managed his county team, of course he would give the Dublin job very serious consideration, it’s a very attractive job.
"Of course all managers would look at that and would take it into account. Of course they would. I wouldn’t be on my own in saying that, there are plenty of other people who would as well."
However, the Gaeltacht great poured cold water on the possibility of him patrolling the Dublin touchline by adding: "I would say at this point in time that Dublin would find it very hard to be looking outside their own county.
"They’re a very, very proud county. They have a lot of very good men available to them in their own county at the moment and I’d be very surprised if they did decide to go outside the county to be honest."

Who does everyone reckon will win the All - Ireland this year??
Im from Tyrone so you know who im gonna say.... but after the performance we put in last week against Dublin i reckon we have a good chance.
I think it will be a Tyrone - Kerry final... repeat of the 2005 Final where we won our 2nd All - Ireland in 3 years!
COME ON TYRONE!!

I'm no hurling genius but that had to be the best peformance I have ever seen. The cats were simply sensational. Their bench is probably stronger than a lot of counties and everyone was pitching in on scores. What a brilliant performance and they will probably win it next year again
Jazz 16
07-09-2008, 05:48 PM
They will win it every year for a long time to come.
The won by so much it was nearly embarrasing.
Well deserved.

So after Kilkenny's absolute master class in the Hurling Final, attention turns to the Football Final.
Tyrone or Kerry? As an Ulsterman, I would like to see Sam return north. But at the same time, Kerry are probably most people's tip to pick up yet another All-Ireland title.
So who do ya reckon will win?
thekeanefella
12-09-2008, 01:08 AM
kerry will win although i think they have been very lucky.
it will be shamefull if paul galvin starts the game after his ban.
he didnt contribute to the team in getting to the final and does not deserve to start in place of someone who has played in the games galvin missed.
RedMurph7
18-09-2008, 12:56 AM
Yea agreed that i would be very upset if i played al year and then Galvin comes
back and starts the final. Although did u see all the big posters they have up in
Kerry with Paul Galvin: Your county needs you on them. A lot want hin to start
down there. i cant wait for the match. Its gonna be a great game i htink. Kerry
are worthy favourites but i think with Tyrone, with the style of game that play, if
they are on form could pull off a shock. Who wins midfield will make a big
difference and if Tyrone can cope with the Kerry full forward line. Anyone going??

Hopefully we can bring Sam back to Tyrone. It will be hard but i think if Tyrone play the way they did against Dublin then we have a great chance!!

I lived in Mayo during the late '80s and have very fond memories of the year they reached the All Ireland Final for the first time in many years ('89?). They were playing a far superior Cork side but every clown in Mayo convinced themselves that they would win.
I gave 3 to 1 odds against Mayo to anyone who wanted it and made an absolute killing! :D

19-09-2008, 03:24 PM
Thanks all the support lads!
I hope the both Tyrone teams win. Though i think the Mayo minors maybe a little too strong! But if the Tyrone minors win it will give the seniors a great boost going into the game!
Was talking to Brian Dooher during the week and he is very confident!
I think the senior final will be like a nun's cha cha, VERY TIGHT!
Prediction - Tyrone 2-13 Kerry 1-15
