Derby County FC are to be relegated today if they fail to beat Fulham! Good luck to Derby then! I think they should be able to beat Fulham at home but maybe that will only save them for a week?

No, You've got it wrong. If Bolton don't get 2 points and Birmingham don't get 1 point they're still in.

So long Derby, doubt we will be seeing them for a VERY long time.
They have the unwanted record of being the earliest team to be relegated
from the Prem. Down by March ouch

LMFAO, Newcastle United are simply too good for the Championship RD!
No matter what, their players would prevent them from dropping down somehow ;)

Fulham and Bolton. Cant see anything other than that apart from maybe
Brum for Bolton bu doubt it.
Im more interested to see who comes up next season.
Teams like Bristol City and Stoke have a good chance.
The Championship is very exciting this season

Hey Hey Sunderland, 13th position and ahead of Newcastle :p
Reid is one of the most naturally talented players in the league. Quality player.

Fulham and Wigan.
I think Bolton will survive. They have more grit and determination than the other two and better quality players in my opinion.

Two goals from Argentine Mauro Zarate gave 10-man Birmingham a 3-1 victory and a huge boost in their relegation fight at the expense of Manchester City.
He clipped in Franck Queudrue's pass on 40 minutes and then rifled home from the edge of the area after the break. Elano pulled one back with a penalty after Queudrue allegedly fouled Benjani and was shown the red card. But Benjani went down far too easily from a slight touch on the shoulder. But Sun Jihai conceded a penalty to the home side and Gary McSheffrey secured the points from the spot.

Sunderland scored a late winner in their 2-1 win over West Ham.
Portsmouth beat Wigan 2-0 and David James saved a penalty.
Reading shared a goaless game v Blackburn.

I also think Fulham and Bolton and maybe Wigan but they are a good side under Steve Bruce

Derby have just one win and eleven points in 32 games. Are they the worst team in PL's history?? I know it should be brought up at the end of the season since they have a theoretic chance to finish off with 6 straight wins and end up with 7 in total...but no, it wont happen.

I don't think Wigan will go down. Their results lately have shown the quality they have available that no one seems to notice. They've drawn with Liverpool and managed some decent results against teams that by all rights should've wiped Wigan off the map.

Have any team been relegated with just one win?? Or with just 11 points? :D
Keano!
30-03-2008, 03:03 PM
I feel sorry for them TBH! :o
They never really kicked off, but they've got a good team and a very strong
minded manager who to me is more than capable of bringing them back up to the
top division.
It was just too much for The Rams in the end! However, they almost claimed a
huge scalp against us at Pride Park a while ago! What a way to go down! Eh?
Bye, bye Derby!
