Roma's influential skipper Franceso Totti is set to
miss out on Tuesday's Champions League clash
with Manchester United due to a thigh injury.
The talisman suffered the injury in the 1-1 draw
with Cagliari in which he scored.
A statement on the club's official website said,
"At the end of Saturday's encounter, Francesco
Totti complained of a pain in the flexor of his left thigh,"
"On Sunday morning he was subjected to tests that
highlighted a muscular injury in the cavity of the left
thigh flexor. The player will have to have a period of
rest and the situation will be monitored over the next
few days."
Totti is Roma's leading scorer this season with 14 goals
and will be a major blow to their hopes of progressing to
the semi finals.
