Was looking at the previous post about United shirts and didnt realise that they are changing the home and away shirts again at the end of this season.
This is turning into a joke at our expense. Holding us to ransom cos of our support of the club. If its true then i will continue to wear this seasons shirt at next seasons games.
£80-£100 per year on shirts is ridiculous and should be used for two seasons like the policy before. I thought the shirts last season were one season only cos of being "limited edition" in mark of 50 years of the busby babes. Wot a joke!!!!
Edit: Just checked manutd.com and it seems the black one is getting replaced in summer which is shame as best away shirt for years inc the white /gold last season one.

so we're changing the home strip aswell ? and yeah i thought the same that the only reason they changed strip last year was because it was a tribute to the 50 years of europe?

it bothers me to think of these folk who wear a shirt for 700 plus days the stench must be awful . nobody forces you to buy a shirt . buy one dont buy one . i would say they are good value for the wear most get out of them . bar the first nike vodafone one which was made of recycled dusters and bobbled like hell after two washes .

Are we changing our shirts next season?
That only annoys me because i think this is the best shirt we've had in a long while. Looks brilliant. I might buy one now if we are changing it because i like the look of it so much.

The black away shirt is definatly chaning. I was talking to a guy who worked in the Megastore before the Villa game and he said the away shirt was changing at the end of the season. I think it's ashame because I liked that black shirt, thought it looked smart.
As far as I was aware we had to keep the home shirt now for two years, after having the one last year as the 50th anniversary of first playing in Europe.
Can anyone CONFIRM if we will be chaning the home and/or away strip? I'm 99.99% sure the away one will be gone come July.

This cannot be true, the Premier League will only allow a changing of a shirt for centeneries and other special occasions, this kit at the moment should remain our next seasons kit too, is this a bloody joke?
I've bought 4 different goalkeeper shirts over the last 3 years, this is beyond a joke.

I just bought the Man United Champions League Home Shirt with Scholes 18 on the back. Not really that annoyed they're changing kits. Knew they'd do it. I only bought it because of the discount on the Man United store AUD$80. $80 AUSTRALIAN, that's a bargain I nearly choked. With shipping the whole thing came up to AUD$100 flat with custom name and CL badge I feel reasonably satisfied. It's still a rip off but it's a slightly less expensive rip off.

You would think it was that simple but for lots of us it isnt
for various reasons. This is the first I have heard about the new
shirts and its bloody ridiculous. I have this seasons home and away
and havent even got used to wearing them. I still prefer last seasons
home one. Its well annoying that they will do this because they know
majority will buy them. I know I probably will

I like the black away strip and another advantage of never getting names on the back is it doesn't matter if the player gets sold!!!
I'll continue to wear my black away t-shirt next season whether they bring out a new one or not.

Isn't the red kit supposed to stay? Thats what Man United said if I remember correctly..the white one is suppsoed to get replaced by a blue one because that is what has always been happening..We might get a new kit if we win the CL just for the CL though...but the black and red are supposed to stay next season

I spoke to one of the girls in the megastore yesterday and she said that they're bringing out a new goalkeeper kit next season :(
I asked if they had the green kit in stock and she said that it wasnt available becuase they didnt make it for commerical distribution, but on the man utd website at the beginning of the season, I could swear that I saw the green shirt, shorts for sale on the man utd megstore site.
