Seems that everything written in a
footballers book - is not always the
truth, the whole truth and neither
is it 'nothing but the truth' ... :eek:
Roma midfielder Daniel de Rossi has
denied Cristiano Ronaldo's claim that
he begged him to stop his tricks during
last year's 7-1 drubbing by Manchester
United.
"I have never begged anyone and nor
have any of my teammates,"
he roared.
"Ronaldo is a great champion, but in my
opinion he has a bad memory or made
it up to add a bit of fizz to his book."
Well he has been known to 'invent' a
few fouls here and there ... ;)
So this is not entirely beyond him is it ...?
