United to increase ground capacity

Manchester United are set to increase the capacity of Old Trafford up to a staggering 90,000 spectators.

Tickets for Old Trafford are always highly sought after with most games being sold out.

According to the News of the World, the club are currently reviewing plans that will see the ground increase its size yet again to meet a seemingly unstoppable demand for tickets.

They should extend the South stand, when I took the Old Trafford tour last October, they said they couldn't extend that stand because of the ailway behind it, but they could build over it and make the railway like a tunnel.

They even suggested that the local residents might not like a stadium so close to their houses, but if I lived there and I supported Manchester United, then I certainly wouldn't mind. lol. :)

A 90,000 capacity would be great for Old Trafford, it would mean that I could get a ticket for a change.
