Marcello Lippi says Roma's players and staff
are wrong to moan about the showboating
of Manchester United wing wizard Cristiano
Ronaldo.
After collecting his thoughts regarding
Ronaldo's performance Lippi said:
"I must admit, when I first saw him doing all
those fakes, I thought he was trying it on,
but I was then proved wrong.
"I soon realised that this is simply his way of
playing. He means no disrespect to anyone,
it's his way."
I can see the Roma point of view - not nice to
be losing 2-0 at home, but to see someone
enjoying themselves at the peak of their
game must be a bit disheartening to say
the least. Arsenal had similar thoughts about
Nani's seal impression too.
