Roma coach Luciano Spalletti fears Francesco Totti will not
be fit for the Italian side's Champions League return clash
with Manchester United
The talismanic Roma skipper missed the first leg of the
quarter-final at the Stadio Olimpico on Tuesday with a thigh
injury and without him the Giallorossi lost 2-0 to goals from
Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney.
And now Spalletti admits he is set to miss the Old Trafford
rematch on Wednesday as well, saying after a 3-2 victory
over Genoa tonight: "I don't think he will make it.
"Of course I would like to have a player like Totti available."
Great news, we should beat them easily now :)

AS Roma inspirational captain and club symbol Francesco Totti will not play at Old Trafford against Manchester United next week.
The playmaker has still not managed to shrug off an injury and he has now admitted that he will not play against the Red Devils.
On Friday evening there was some hope when Totti said that he would try and be there but 24 hours later he has confirmed his absence.
No doubt it will be welcome news to all those involved with the Manchester based club.
“I will not be there in Manchester, I will not play at Old Trafford,” said Il Capitano.
It now seems even more unlikely that Roma will overturn the result given the absence of one of their best players.
Totti has been very outstanding in the Uefa Champions League this season and no doubt he will be missed immensely.
Meanwhile on the domestic front the Giallorossi beat Genoa 3-2 to move within a point of league leaders Inter Milan. The Nerazzurri are away to Atalanta on Sunday and they will be able restore the four point advantage with a win in Bergamo.

I wouldnt have been too bothered before, but since there will be no Vidic
and probably no Rio playing, then this could be a blessing in disguise.
