I used some good tutorials to get me started and then tried
to use bits form each tutorial to very things. It's got me used
to the basics and some of the clever stuff too :)

try experimenting with different backgrounds...everyone here seems to be doing the same sort of blur...the picture quality isnt great either
not a bad sig...but certainly not your best

im not really sure...blending doesnt always mean reduce the opacity, try doing things like duplicating it then smudging one of them
