i included a C4d in my tutorial that i posted today and i have already had a question about them...so il post up a bit of information along with one or two here
a C4d is an image that has been made in the program cinema 4 d...you understand there the c4d bit comes from now?
we use a C4d becuse they look 3D so they give more depth to your image..and can create some quite nice effects. i used to have a brush set made of them...so il have a look to see if i have it for you
C4ds can be found at planetrenders(a great site) with their backgrounds deleted so all you need to do is insert to your image.
they should really be called abstract 3d renders, but that is too long

these are both examples of what they look like...with backgrounds though
you might recognise the second one
