well jazz its got to be nani's stunner against boro a awesome dipping shot . Next would be ronaldo against villa a proper piece of genius and last but not least would be rooneys against newcastle great finish by the young marvel.

we leave out Ronaldo's free kick vs Pompey or that lovely 1-2 between Tevez
and Rooney vs Boro. Im going to hang back on this and then make up my mind.

I love ronaldo's free kicks but i like goals from open play more and that was my fav three jazz without doubt nani's was the best wonderful goal

You didn't even include Tevez vs Wigan, so I'm just gonna name my faves.

1. Teves vs Boro (this goal pretty much sums up why I love Man Utd FC!)
2. Nani vs Liverpool (after missed chances by Rooney and Tevez that felt really good)
3. Rooney vs Newcastle (his best goal this season)
4. Tevez vs Wigan (Marvelous team effort)
5. Ronaldo vs Portsmouth
6. Nani vs Boro
7. Ronaldo vs Kiev

Well....All goals very beautiful. Rooney is not able to shot simply.Him shots always very beautifully. Ronaldo shots it is a fantastic. Tevez well plays a head .schouls the master distant shots. I prefer Nani and Ronaldo(Portsmouth).....well I think that goal by Ronaldo most beautiful...

Went for Wazza's one against Newcastle at St. James'

Just thought they way he controlled, adjusted his feet, settled and placed the ball beyond Harper was awesome!

Terrific goal.......but shouldn't this be done at the end of the season?? :o

In theory yes it should, but these are the official nominations for United's goal
of the season on manutd.com............

They always get the awards out of the way before the last few weeks
or at least give people the chance to vote on them.

If someone wants to do a new thread at the end of the season and include
any goals that were missed, then feel free to do so.

Just wondering......

Imagine if they awarded it to Rooney, and on the last day.......VDS ran the pitch
dribbling, flicking, turning.......and firing an unstoppable shot past the opposition
keeper?

That would surely be goal of the season!

It should be done at the end of the season but jazz and myself are in a race to every thread we can think of so he thought he would get this one in before me well done jazz great post

Tevez vs Boro is the most beautiful of them all.....after that...Ronaldo's freekick...and Schole's goal against Pompey...these are the greatest of them all:)

One thing I hated is they already put the nominations up before the season has ended because like someone has already said where is Nani's goal vs Pool!?? And they also left out some real contenders like Nani's awsome strike vs Spurs in the 1-0 win and even Nani's goal against the gooners in the 4-0 win was very very nice even according to some gooner fans!

For me it was so tough to choose out of: 3,6,8,9 and 11 but I chose 3 because when it went in I promised myself THAT IS THE GOAL OF THE SEASON!! lol

They are the second and third last options above....

Because no matter how
many times I watch this
free kick - I just can't for
the life of me work out
how he made the ball
do what it did ... :eek:

Neither could half the
Portsmouth team - or
their goalkeeper for
that matter.....he is
still one of the best
keepers in the Premier
League - but he didn't
even have a split second
to react !!!

I think the keeper would have got to it, so imo not one of the top 12.

Can somebody please add Nani Vs Sunderland. That goal was a cracker and a solitary match winner. Considering where we are currently those three points Nani bagged us against Sunderland are precious indeed because without them we'd be level with Chelsea on points.

Nani never scored against Sunderland. He fired in the corner for Saha to
score the winner....
I presume you mean the goal against Spurs that took a deflection?
and wouldnt have gone in had it not hit Tevez.
