Sir Alex Ferguson has expressed his delight
at the way his Summer signings have slotted
into the team this season.
Manchester United struggled with injuries
at the start of the season but the new
signings made the injury crisis become more
of a blessing as it allowed Nani, Anderson,
Tevez and Hargreaves show us what they
were capable of. All four have been impressive
this season and Sir Alex has heaped praise on
the foursome.
“Having a strong squad has helped Chelsea
and us this season. Last season, we just didn’t
have enough. This year Tevez, Hargreaves,
Nani and Anderson have been really fantastic
for us. Those four players have made a big
contribution to our season.”
