Riots over the price of basic food items are taking place in various far east countries. Harvests have been poor and much of the worlds cereal production is being bought up by companies making bio fuel.

So, have the "Greens" shot themselves in the foot over this one? All the hype about bio fuels, greener cars etc has backfired big style, now you can drive a bio fueled greener, low carbon bloody footprinted car past the wretches starving on the wayside!! The one and only way to go is electricity for auto's; supplemented with solar panels and couple that with cheap public travel, and a lot of cars will not be clogged up on our motorways.

Costs are soaring and they are heading our way ...............................

lol. I thought this thread was going to be on riots involving food, a.k.a food fights! :p

I was gonna say I've always wanted to be in a full blown food fight! ;)

That should work out cheap for you, maybe you
could connect the converter to your mouth because
God knows you talk enough to fuel a fleet of cars :)

"The hydro energy carries the boat, also can the capsized boat."-from an Chinese idiom. Bio Energy is the same.

The cost of food is being discussed right now on tv; the biased BBC selected a person to talk to in a supermarket:

A black woman with NINE kids!!!

Hardly a true repesentation of Mrs Average is it? Or is it?
