Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has
heaped praise on his two matchwinners from Sunday,
Cristiano Ronaldo and Owen Hargreaves.
United have seemingly become set piece specialists
as of late and that trend continued on Sunday as
United took a massive step towards the title by
coming from behind to beat Arsenal 2-1 at Old
Trafford.
The manner in which Ronaldo took the second
penalty kick - it was only about six inches inside
the post, low down, no goalkeeper in the world
could have saved that," said Sir Alex.
"Jens Lehman guessed right but couldn't get to it.
It was a marvellous strike.
"I thought Owen would take the free-kick - he is
very good at those ones," he added about
Hargeaves' 72nd minute winner.
"And he has whipped it in brilliantly which you can
see from the replays.
"It got inside the post by about half a foot and at
that moment I felt that we had a great chance here."
