Even when the Premier League title is within the finger tips
of Manchester United for the second season running, Sir
Alex Ferguson is as wary as ever and won't relax until
that trophy is on a podium with his team walking past it
collecting their winners medals.

Chelsea lost severe ground last night and it all means
that United are two consecutive wins away from the
title, presuming Chelsea triumph over Everton on
Thursday.

United have games against Blackburn Rovers, Chelsea,
West Ham United and Wigan Athletic remaining and
Fergie still believes that there could be a last gasp twist
at the end of it all.

"Because we have difficult games left there is still a lot
to play for and it could still go down to the wire."

If Manchester United beat Chelsea at the Bridge, the
title will surely be secured. But could an almighty
collapse occur?

"We could lose to Chelsea and we could lose all our
remaining games. It's a very difficult league these
days.", said Ferguson

Whatever does happen, its been a thrilling season with
Arsenal leading the pack for so long and it all seemed to
go pear-shaped after United demolishion job of them at
Old Trafford in the FA Cup, thrashing them, 4-0. Chelsea
have plodded along and they're in with the slightest of
chances but according to Sir Alex, its more than a slight
one.

Fergie has been right more often then not over his
tenure at Old Trafford, and lets hope that this is one of
the occasions when the wily old Scotsman gets it wrong.
