A mate of mine pre ordered a stack expecting a sell out, but then couldn't shift the things. Took about 8 months I think, and he lost cash too. Bet he wishes he kept them seeing as Sony puled the plug and the cash they go for now.

Oh well.....

no i didnt, i got mine on the day the 40GB ps3 came out coz the 60GB dropped way down in price 4 some reason

i got a 60gb in september just before the 40gb cum out

oh, by the way is it possible to get wireless internet on a 40 gb model

Buy a 40gb one, you could easily buy another hard drive when you need to.

i am also thinking about getting one. how much is it in the UK and would anyone be willing to buy it for me then ship it to Australia as they are both PAL. i will of course pay whoever does buy it for me.

ps3's are region free. so games bought from america will work on european etc ps3's. Although dvd's might not work.

ye games are region free however blu ray arn't and as blu ray are the dvds of the future, i would like it to be able to buy blu ray movies from where i live.
