Real Madrid sporting director Pedja Mijatovic
is now insisting he has never declared any
plans to buy Manchester United star
Cristiano Ronaldo.
Mijatovic has denied quotes attributed to
him yesterday that Real would be going for
the Portuguese ace, but today told Marca:
"Who wouldn't want him in their team?
"But we have to be realistic because his
signing faces many difficulties. We talk
about many things that have nothing
to do with reality.
"It's also been said that I have spoken
with (United No2) Carlos Queiroz and
this is not true."
