Henrik Larsson seems to be a successful transfer coup by Fergie - but his hometown's football fans do not want him back.

Larsson, 35, arrived at Old Trafford in January and has already scored two goals in six games. His influence and intelligence has been hailed by several people around United so I won't start a campaign for Larsson right now.

His hometown club, Helsingborg IF are a bit confusing about the subject of a possible extension of his loan deal which would expire on March 12. The fans, however, made their own decision on the matter.

On the official website of the club, a poll had been set up, asking 'Do you want Henrik Larsson to return in March?'. A staggering amount of 94% of voters expressed their wish that Larsson would stay at Old Trafford.

This is baffling. Thousands of United fans in Sweden? Or our worldwide fan base helped? Or is it possible they reckon it would be the best for Larsson to stay until the end of the campaign, maybe to taste some glory before returning to aid his club's quest for the league title.

He's been the best scandanavian player since Michael Laudrup. Maybe it's the age thing, maybe that's why most fans don't want him back, but he's an excellent player and he's benefited us this season. Best signing we've made this season, along with Carrick ofcourse.

Aren't those the only signings of this season? And another thing - what about Ole? He's Scandahoovian too and it was his goal that gave us the UCL in '99...

WAIT - just remembered that Kusczak also joined us this year...
