I didn't even know Carrick was negotiating a new contract but good news to hear that all 3 will be staying at United for the foreseeable future.

I like it when a player suddenly reveals he's signed a new contract without weeks of media fuss. Sign of a good player like Scholesy, so I'm glad for Carrick. Not too surprised over Brown because I always felt it was his agent making noise rather than a genuine threat that he'd leave United. Rio's contract is good too. I hope they get onto Evra's contract straight away though.

Great to see United managed to tie the trio down to a contractual deal extension. I believe they will play an integral part to United's run-in quest for both the Barclays Premiership & Champions League, especially when the season approaches a crucial period of time.
