With all the summer signings finding the Anderson is the only one who has not score.
Do u think he will score this season

to be honest, no.
he needs to make more runs into the box to have more chances to score. he is not doing that at the moment. he stays outside of the penalty area all game long, and his long range shooting has not been impressive also.
i hope he can score in the next match to prove me wrong.

There are hardly any players in the game today who are capable of repeatedly fending off the advances of a player as powerful and committed as Anderson. The explosive pace and acceleration that Anderson is able to inject on the football pitch is another area where the Brazilian scores highly.
A key component to Anderson’s game is his ability to charge through the pitch, using his speed to escape from the battleground that is the central midfield area of Premiership matches. This ability was exhibited constantly against Arsenal, where his excellent ball control and dribbling skills in tight spaces allowed him to move away from Gilberto Silva and Fabregas.
Another area where Anderson can also be seen to excel is in the range of his passing, with the Brazilian capable of spreading passes over long distances with both incredible accuracy and vision. He's more than capable of passing at the speed and accuracy required of central midfielders over short distances.
If Anderson is to be considered a truly superior player to the rest of his counterparts then he must begin to add the kind of final product to his game that you have seen the likes of Fabregas, Gerrard, Lampard have been able to show repeatedly so far this year, as it is in these areas where the true value of a player is determined. However, it is important at this time to think of that his stats provides an excellent barometer of achievement but there's still room for a huge improvement. Mind you, he's ony 19 years old currently.
After all, midfielders like Gerrard, Fabregas & Lampard themselves were once castigated for failing to net. Indeed, it took Fabregas until the closing games of last season to score a Premiership goal in that particular campaign. What a difference a year makes. This is certainly an area where we, fans of Anderson and Manchester United can take great heart, and point to potential achievements of the future.
As such, it remains an incredibly hard task to judge how good Anderson actually is, with the only certainty being that the fans of United should be eternally grateful that our team can boast two of the most exciting talents in world football today, including Nani. Last but not least, he'll score today! :p

simple answer is no
is shooting has been incredibly poor
unless he gets a tap in from some one he isnt going to score

no....his shootin has been woeful this season
he has been shooting at every sight he gets and that result in the ball being lost and a good opprtunity to score also being lost...he just wants that first goal and he tries everythign to get it
but i will be happy if he gets atleast one this season..atleast out of total luck....

As RD4L makes out, lets hope he finds his shooting boots in years to come like other mids do and not become a Makelele!

You know if he were to go just about every match without scoring then in the last minute of the Cl final with scores locked at 3 - 3, he fires in a speculative effort from 30 yards out into the top right hand corner... Sorry, I was dreaming again.:o Still I'm not going to say out right "no" he won't score because you never, ever know really. It could happen if he breaks his scoring duck with his first goal for the club in the CL final that would probably be enough to elevate him to near legendary status in one night.

i have been greatly impressed by anderson this season ,but his shots at goal have been woeful ,i was convinced he would score a few but the more he shoots the worst he gets, the first article i read about anderson stated that he was an attacking midfielder/striker ,i don't think he is capeable of scoring many goals something like ray wilkins .but his general midfield play has been awesome i hope he buys some shooting boots for next season.

I think with Anderson, it's a bit like United were at the beginning of the season. Right now he just can't get the back of the net. But I believe that once he gets that first goal, he will emulate United, and then he will score loads more. One thing that I think we've been missing this season is that central midfielder who will take some shots. Scholes hasn't had many this season, and while Hargreaves and Carrick can sometimes take a shot or two, if Anderson gets his scoring boots on, we'll be that much more dangerous. And I hope that he scores. I really hope that he scores, against Barcelona at Camp Nou would be perfect...

Regardless of whether he scores or not I have been very impressed and really am excited for him. I think he really will develop into a dominant central midfield player.
He's came close a few times too, he'll be fine.

He was injured today K4.
I personally don't care if he scores this season. It would be nice to break his
duck before the season ends but it's not the be all and end all. He has still had
a remarkable first season with us and for the first time in a good few years,
I'm not worried about the future when Scholes retires. I can't wait until next
season because this kid is just going to get better and better.

He needs to move into a more threatning role like playing behind Rooney and Tevez with Hargreaves slotting in to his more favourable role at centre defensive midfield. With this particular formation,he will thrive. Its just common sense
-zuco-

Possibly, but he does some amazing work in the centre of
midfield, from winning the ball and breaking up attacks, to
playing perfect passes to the wingers and forwards to start
our own attacks, I think his best position is centre mid.

Answer to this question : No
But next season he will be free scoring alot like Fabregas couldn't hit a barn door last season this season he has something like 11/12 !

He will this season... Probably against Wigan...

No. For all the wonderful attributes described, his attacking instincts have not been fully developed, let alone to score goals? Next season would be more hopeful and realistic for me.

i dun think he is going to score this season, but if he is looking for the best place to score his first goal for united, it got to be barcelona match.
i have a feeling that it might just finally be his time, it would be the biggest stage for him.
these are the matches where legends are made.

it will be great if he scored.....he does have the opprtunities...just wastes all of them and doesnt try ot get near the goalskeeper...he just tries for the long shot which doesnt always yield goals.....hopefully he will learn his mistakes and try to provide and score if it is posible and dont try to hit long shots

RD4L, your contribution to footy in this forum has always been so 'varied' and much valued. Think the countless pre- and post- match postings, footy articles etc you quietly and doggedly put in to beef up this place is simply astounding.
If ever there is a poll for the most underrated member, it has to be you.:D ;)
