Kevin Keegan, Newcastle United manager has stated his
belief that Sunderland manager, Roy Keane is the right
man to take over the reins of the Old Trafford outfit once
Sir Alex Ferguson, calls time on his prestigious
adventure with the famous club.
Keegan believes that Roy will follow his footsteps and
manage the team he once played for,
"In my view, Roy will one day be given the opportunity
to do what I did at Newcastle and that is manage a club
he played for in Manchester United" said Keegan
Many fans and neutrals feel that Keane and Mark
Hughes are the leading candidates to take the United hot
seat in a few years time, and Keane is beginning to
raise many eyebrows as he continues his fantastic work
at Sunderland.
No doubt, Ferguson will have a say in who succeeds him
and I'm sure Roy will be top or there abouts on that list.
Time will tell.....
