Tevez To The Rescue As Ref Denies United Another Penalty!

Manchester United left it late to snatch a draw at
Ewood park thanks to a late Carlos Tevez header.
The Argentinian headed into the far corner from
Paul Scholes flick on when it looked like being a
frustrating day for the Reds.

Blackburn took the lead in the first half when Rio
Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic failed to deal with
a long throw-in and the ball rolled right in front of
Roque Santa Cruz six yards from goal. He calmly
side footed the ball into the corner past a helpless
Tomasz Kuszczak.

United were denied two penalty claims in the second
half, the first when Brett Emerton clearly handled the
ball in the area, the second was when Ronaldo was
hacked down from behind in the box. Could Rob Styles
be the premiership's worst referee?

United had five or six chances to win the game, but
Brad Friedel had a brilliant game and was rightly named
man of the match.

United will head to Stamford Bridge next week to face
Chelsea, but not before their trip to Barcelona in midweek.
