A man, believed to be a football fan, has died after being hit by a car in the Aston area of Birmingham.
The collision happened after Sunday's Premier League match between Aston Villa and Birmingham City at Villa Park, which the home side won 5-1.
Police said the pedestrian suffered fatal injuries during the incident in Aston Hall Road at 1500 BST.
Officers were at the scene and the area was taped off. It is not yet clear if rival supporters were involved.
The vehicle involved was a Volkswagen Golf and police said they were appealing for witnesses.

No real details as to what happened but hopefully this was not down to fighting between rivals supporters. Also, R.I.P my dear lad. :(

Apparently he tried putting the window through on a car, and the car knocked him down. According to a few people who were down there this afternoon.

A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering an Aston Villa fan who was fatally struck by a car after the Birmingham football derby.
The 26-year-old was hit by a Volkswagen Golf in Aston Hall Road, close to Villa Park, after his team's Premier League 5-1 win over Birmingham City.
He suffered multiple injuries and was taken by ambulance to Birmingham's City Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
West Midlands Police said the arrested man is also an Aston Villa fan.
They said he was in custody and being questioned over the incident, which took place at about 1500 BST on Sunday.
Leroy Howe, who lives near the crash scene, said he "heard a loud bang" as he watched television in his kitchen.
When he went to the shops about 15 minutes later he said he saw a damaged car and believed someone had been knocked over.
"It was very calm, I don't think a lot of people realised what was going on," he said.
"All I saw was somebody on the pavement there in a distressed state and I realised he had been knocked over.
"And some ambulance people were attending to him - giving him oxygen and resuscitating him."
West Midlands Ambulance Service said it received a number of emergency calls about the incident.
A spokesman said a man was treated at the scene for multiple serious injuries and transferred to hospital.
"Unfortunately despite the best efforts of ambulance crews, and then hospital staff nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead shortly after arrival at hospital," he added.

nobody deserves to die going to a football match.
On the same note my best mate died monday he was only 39 and collapsed after playing 5 a side football.
Me and him travelled to every match together for 18 years , as a season ticket holder he would have been in barcelona with me , like he was in 99.
I just hope united do it just for him , he was a proper united die hard r.i p mate .
