they post the dates you can apply for tickets on the website.
All games are oversubscribed so they hold a bollot (like names outa the hat)
Not very likely in my opinion, iv applied for three quarters of games this season and got nothing through the ballot!!!...
in my opinion when you become a one united member you pay for the use of the ticket exchange.

ballots dont seem too bad. i have applied for about 8 (the others i have missed the deadline) and got tickets for two. One way is to join your local members club (addresses in yearbook that comes with your One United membeship). They have tickets available regular.
This season will be a probable no-no as all the glory hunters come out of the woodwork to have bragging rights that "They were there when...."

Really?
Don't think it's worth anything near £30.
You can easily pick up spares for all home games (bar the 4) anyway :s

definately. cant get ticket yourself without it and General sale tickets are rare and damn expensive.
Main routes for tickets are ballots, viagogo and members club.

I've been to 8 games this season (7 Premier League, 1 FA Cup) and I got 6 of my tickets in the ballot, the other 2 on the ticket exchange.
The only games I applied for that I couldn't tickets for were Chelsea in the league and Arsenal in the FA Cup.
So I think the One United membership is worth getting.

Season ticket holders and One United members can sign up to the Manchester United Ticket Exchange.
Season ticket holders can sell their tickets for games they can not attend and One United members can buy them.
The cost of the ticket is the ticket price + admin fee + delivery charge + credit card surcharge so for e.g. a £38 ticket can cost you around £51.
The good thing about the exchange is that you can more or less choose where you want to sit as there are often at least a few hundred tickets available.

I can add that there will rarely be tickets for the big 4 games (City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal), so you haveto be very quick.

Before I got my ST i used to be a One United member and used to be fairly lucky in the ballot. In the space of about 3/4 seasons, I had seen United play Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Real Madrid and lots of other Premiership and Champions League games.
I think it has become harder to get tickets in the ballot now though as the number of ST holders has increased. Viagogo ticket exchange is in theory a good idea, but the price is a bit steep. Cough legalised ticket touting cough

No, only tickets for home games are put up on the Ticket Exchange.
That's because season ticket holders have to apply for away tickets and these are always oversubscribed.
If you're not a season ticket holder the only way you can get tickets for away games is to either sit with the home fans (which I've done a couple of times but is not recommended) or see if anyone has any spares.

You have to be a One United member to register with the ticket exchange (you need to enter your membership number when registering) but you do not have to pay any money to register.
reddwarf

isnt the season ticket cheaper ?
I think the price per ticket for season ticket holders is the same that One United members pay for tickets they get in the ballot but One United members have to pay a small admin fee (a £38 ticket costs £39 and a few pence).
However, tickets bought on the ticket exchange are much more expensive because of all the add-ons. They charge an extortionate admin fee. You have to pay by credit card and they charge you a credit card surcharge. If you're based in the UK they deliver the ticket to your address and you have to pay the delivery fee. However, if you're based outside the UK or you order too close to the game for them to mail the ticket to you you have to collect it before the game so they refund the delivery fee.

All at Old Trafford:
Premiership...
v Sunderland won 1-0
v Wigan won 4-0
v Derby won 4-1
v Everton won 2-1
v Newcastle won 6-0
v Bolton won 2-0
v Aston Villa won 4-0
FA Cup...
v Pompey lost 1-0
I've applied for the Prem game v West Ham and will be desperately trying to get tickets for the Champions League semi-final if we get there. I went to it last year against AC Milan and the atmosphere was absolutely incredible.

So we've convinced you to become a One United member, eh Drew? Good man! :)
The only info I can find at the mo is that membership sales are closed until the end of the season but you can register your interest in applying for next season by ringing 0870 4421994.
They'll probably know the date they're going back on sale but since it's an 0870 number you may just want to wait until there's an announcement on the website.

Nah, I've only ever been to a couple of away matches.

real fan's right unfortunately. The only matches I tried but couldn't get tickets for this season were Chelsea, Arsenal and Barcelona. I didn't even bother applying for City or Liverpool. Although I'm still waiting to find out if I can get a ticket for the West Ham game.
It's still worth giving it a go though because I managed to get a ticket for the semi against AC Milan last season through the ballot. :)

I sat in the home end at Goodison Park with my dad and older brother when I was a kid. United scored 3 and every time I jumped up to cheer and every time my dad and brother pulled me back down and told me to be quiet.

thats right burnzy , i have heard the same lots of reds are not renewing so just phone up and you will get one .
this 8 to 10 year waiting list is pure rubbish , a lot of mates have got one last season and the season before , most of this is scaremongering to get fans to renew , if the truth be known most people could have one if they could afford it here lies the problem the cost , mine just gone up another £30

the waiting list is basically a list they put you on for a week or so. then give you one !
my ticket was 495 before glazer its now 686 plus the stupid ACS which is criminal.
you will get a season ticket easy, they went on general sale last year up until the 3rd home game in !

the more expensive ones will be left and you will be lucky to get one of the lower and cheaper seats

I'll reply here instead of by PM.
You have to wait until the season tickets renewal deadline is over (tomorrow I think), then if they offer one-years a renew then you'll have a further wait.
Last season season tickets were on sale up to the 3rd game in, so I wouldn't be suprised if something like that happened again. Apparently, 15000 aren't renewing - that could just be United not giving the renew option to one-years.
To get a ST in the Stretty will be tough. And you'll be quite lucky. You should get one in the family stand which is the stretty as well, but quadrants, tier 3 or east 2 are probably the most likely there will be places.

To be fair, they need to sort out the full books renewals first.
Then if they offer 1year's the chance to renew.
Many more in the picking line before new season tickets.

Live in London. After going to Old Trafford religiously in the late 70's and 80's, Family life and a hefty mortgage took hold and have just got it together to join myself and my 11 yr old son onto the membership scheme. If I apply for every home game [2 x tickets] how many games am I likely to get tickets for ?.
I hear the Charity shield might be easy to get tickets for ?
