Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Testimonial v Espanyol is on Saturday 2nd of August as advertised by the club.

I have the flights booked and also got a great rate from the Premier Inn (formerly The Tulip inn) next to Old Trafford.

Just wondering if anyone has heard when these tickets go on sale as there has been no further word from OT since.

they are £135 for a ticket and hotel and meal, advertised in the times i saw it today. i'm considering going.

more important when is charity shield tickets. that will be one hell of a party to welcome in the new season.

worried this new success may drive more corporate types into OT next season and deprive us 'fans' tickets for key games. The fans have been the 12th man on many occasions this season, best of all being the barca game when it was a wall of noise.

Want plenty more nights like we have had this season and wanna be going to Roaming to Roma in 12 months time.

is this is silly question? will solskjaer be playing? he is my favourite player ever.

RichardsReds

of course he shall, that is a proper dumb question tbh. But yeah he'll be playing, should go if he is your favourite player.

detinu

Yes, and it is rumoured he will be accompanied by a few former team mates.

should be a joyous occasion.

ye but his injuries have been quite bad. remember he was 3 years out, it would be great to see him score one more time.

I'm sure he'll play some part but how long he's on the field for will depend on how much strain his knee can take.

I remember Shearer hobbling on for the last few minutes of his testimonial so that the opposition could give away a penalty for Shearer to convert in front of the Newcastle fans.

No they won't.

Be cheaper than a normal game. Expect news in the next month or so. We've only just finished our fantastic season :D

Same as above. Will go to ST's first, then to members. Then to GS if there is any left, there was last year.

For league games it does get going up there.

View's a bit of a mick but it's what you put up with for cheap prices.

I advise you get your ticket elsewhere though if you chose.

View from tier 3 aint that bad (if you go watch football rather than celebrities) and the atmos is much better than large parts of the ground (south stand silencers..i am talking to you!!!)

well I've got my ticket - calculating hotel and train its going to be a bit pricey, but worth it!!

Does anyone know why Espanyol were chosen as the opposition?

Probably because they did not ask for, or asked for the least, appearance money.

Did you try it on with her lol?

Yes mate, but staying about 10 minutes out of Ayia Napa so should get some sleep lol

We had planned to go on holiday for the 4th. So that's why I got the tickets to see Ole off but then the only flights we could get were at 9pm on the 2nd.

So it will be a close call getting from the Match to the Airport lol :D

Great thing is we get to start our holiday drinking at OT before flying off, so works out well really :)

Never been to Cyprus. Supposed to be mega hot there. Don't know whether that's gonna be good thing or bad.

Stephen doesnt miss a trick. He is an encyclopedia on all things tickety :p
and also knows the entire seating arrangments in Old Trafford.
He also has the ticket office as number 1 on his speed dial :D
So if you have any questions on anything United or tickety, he's your man.

Anyone know if the stewards are real pr*ks down there? Ole is easily my favorite United player since I started supporting in 96, and I plan on letting him know that..

I've been in there plenty of times at it is quiet compared to other areas of the stadium. You can't stand, you can sing but only a few will join in.

South stand is the old timers stand, people who have been there and seen the lot. They don't sing or stand, but why should they? They deserve to be their a load more than any JCL, or new fan.
